I think the most notable event would be that Warren Buffet, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, has announced that he will be giving 85% of his fortune to The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Mr. Warren Buffet's fortune is valued at 44 billion USD. He will be giving 37 billion over the next few years. I found this interesting because the second richest man in the world is now giving the majority of his money to the richest man in the world. Also, this will be a record breaker for the highest amount anyone has ever donated to any charity. I am sure the money will be put to good use as the BMG foundation has been helping children in third world countries for many years.
